Camp ASCCA’s 49th summer is almost here! In just a few weeks, Camp ASCCA will kick off its 49th summer—and we’re thrilled to announce that our program staff has officially completed their training! They arrived on May 27 for a week-long orientation, and our full-time staff gave them a warm welcome Tuesday morning. This year’s team includes both new and returning faces across our Adventure, Aquatics, Outdoor Education, and Arts & Crafts programs, and they are eager to make Summer 2025 the best one yet.
Training began with introductions and quickly moved into policies and procedures—essential knowledge for helping our staff fully understand Camp ASCCA’s mission and history. From there, staff members split into their program areas for hands-on learning and preparation. Whether it’s practicing rescues or reviewing safety protocols, our goal is to make sure each team member feels confident, informed, and ready to provide the best experience possible for our campers.

From tubing rides to outdoor adventures, our program staff is off to an incredible start. We can’t wait to welcome our campers and officially begin another unforgettable summer at Camp ASCCA!
Our program staff will spend the next two weeks working alongside Camp Seale Harris, a camp dedicated to children with Type 1 diabetes. During this time, they’ll lead activities and evening programs—gaining valuable experience and creating unforgettable memories before we welcome our ASCCA campers back for the summer!

This is just the beginning of what’s sure to be an incredible season.
We’ll be kicking off our program staff introductions very soon—be sure to check back and get to know the faces behind the fun!
