Hi, I’m Laura Stokley and I am so excited to be one of Camp ASCCA’s public relations interns for the summer of 2023! A little background on me, I am an upcoming sophomore at Troy University majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in public relations. Some of my hobbies include photography, skateboarding, and playing tennis which keeps me very active. I love the outdoors and want to live somewhere in the mountains after I graduate college. Hiking, kayaking, and swimming are some of my favorite activities which really led me to want to work at Camp ASCCA! I am a total extrovert and never get bored of talking to people about various things and cannot wait to meet everyone here!
This is my first summer working at Camp so I was a little nervous to meet everyone when I arrived. It didn’t take long for me to feel right at home and make new friends who I am excited to share the rest of my summer with. I’ve always heard Camp ASCCA is the best place to meet new people and have fun while also getting to serve. I cannot wait to experience this amazing place and the amazing people who come this summer!
