Quillie comes to ASCCA!

Things have been in full swing today here at camp. Throughout each day I get to observe many activites. Despite the rain showers we have had all throughout the day here, campers have still had their schedule packed with various activites!

Today, campers had a special activitiy planned for them during free choice. Quillie, a former staff member here at Camp ASCCA, came and played his guitar and sang for all the campers. All of the campers were up dancing and singing along.

After the rain stopped, some campers chose to go participate in other activites. I had the opportunity to go out to our demo farm. It is where campers can go observe and interact with all different kinds of animals like bunnies, chickens, donkeys, pigs, turkeys, cows, and horses. Campers also get to have a competition with making butter.

Watching campers today througout the day have made me realize to stop and enjoy the little things in life. Sometimes they mean the most.

Don’t forget to keep checking out pictures from this week on our flickr and ASCCA friends page! 🙂
