Session 7
We had our usual Tuesday night talent show tonight, but it was far from normal. Not only was a special night because it was the last talent show of the Camp ASCCA summer sessions, but it was also special because of the acts.
Most of our acts were extremely heartfelt. We had one camper read poetry that she wrote, another that performed a poem and a song that he had written, another who shared a short story, another who showed off a picture he drew of Camp ASCCA, and finally a camper who shared a special song her grandfather used to sing to her.
In past weeks, singing or dancing took the lead for most common category of performance, but this week the top spot was for original works. We loved everybody’s creativity and confidence up there on the stage and have enjoyed this week with them so far. We can’t wait for this group of awesome people to keep surprising us!
