Radney School 5th Grade Plunges Into Water Quality

For our final Water Quality Day Camp we had the wonderful students from the 5th grade of William L. Radney School. Students were given the opportunity to expound upon their Alabama water and wildlife knowledge through participation in various activities. The schedule was very similar to yesterday; students participated in constructing a watershed, exploring the streams, water testing, and finally exploration of the Dunn center including nature Jeopardy.

Today, in addition to our regular Program staff, we had some volunteers from Constellation Energy in Alex City join us. We were also fortunate to have the wonderful volunteers from Lake Martin Lake Watch join us again for our stream adventures.

Again, none of this could be possible without the generous sponsorship from the Middle Tallapoosa River Basin Clean Water Partnership.
