Hagan Wagoner, incoming chairman, and Denise Walls, coordinator, with The Middle Tallapoosa River Basin Clean Water Partnership present Geni Payne, outdoor and environmental education director at Alabama’s Special Camp for Children and Adults, with a $1,365 check Wednesday. The partnership raised the money by auctioning off 12 rain barrels Camp ASCCA campers painted at a workshop in July. The money will go toward the camp’s Campership Fund, which provides financial assistance to campers who cannot afford the full cost of the camp.
