We are back up and on the Internet here at Camp ASCCA! Sorry about the delay of uploading pictures and blogging yesterday. We had a thunderstorm that rolled in yesterday morning and stayed half of the day here.
Even though the morning started off with a thunderstorm, that didn’t stop us here from having fun. Instead of having regular morning activites we started off the morning with some games of Hollywood Squares and Skit in a Bag. All of the campers had a blast even though they were stuck inside for the first half of the morning.
After lunch and rest period, teen week was able to resume the activites that had been planned for them in the morning. While all of teen week went on with their normal activites, I had that opportunity to spend the afternoon with Sports Camp. They got to have a special activity that is not done here a lot at Camp ASCCA. All the campers went out to where they have riflery, and got to Shoot Skeet. I had so much fun watching all the campers as some of them cheered as they shot at their first moving target ever and some were pros at it. I also had the opportunity to take part in it and I will say it is very challenging.
Teen week ended the night with a casino night where they went around from table to table and played classic casino games. Sports Camp ended the night with capture the flag with glow sticks in the gym.
Today is the day everyone at camp has been looking forward to all week. Its PROM DAY!!!! So make sure you check back later tonight to look at all the prom pictures!
