On December 14th, Camp ASCCA hosted its 10th annual Jingle Jump fundraiser, marking a milestone in our mission to support individuals with disabilities. This year, the event was an overwhelming success, raising an incredible $73,000—an amount that continues to grow! We are truly grateful for the outpouring of support we received from our community, as it’s clear just how many people are dedicated to helping Camp ASCCA thrive.
The event saw 35 teams and participants, including staff members, campers, organizations, businesses, and even local high school clubs. Each participant jumped into the chilly Camp ASCCA pool, cheered on by a passionate and enthusiastic crowd. We are so proud of everyone who took part and made this day one to remember!
A special thank you goes out to the Alabama Elks Association, who raised a phenomenal $21,878. Their unwavering support over the years has been instrumental in helping us achieve our goals, and we cannot thank them enough for their continued dedication.
Cale Galloway, a longtime participant, raised the most as an individual camper, bringing in an impressive $1,350. Cale has been a part of the Jingle Jump for several years and is always a true champion, braving the cold water with a smile!
We’d also like to recognize Amber Cotney, Program Director at Camp ASCCA, who raised the most among our full-time staff members with a total of $4,400. Amber’s commitment and leadership have been key to the event’s success.
The Jingle Jump may have been cold, but the warmth of our community’s generosity was felt by all. With your support, we are able to continue making a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and every one of you for making this event unforgettable and for your ongoing commitment to Camp ASCCA. Your contributions are truly changing lives!
