The campers showed their skills at the talent show this week with singing, dancing, and cheering!
We kicked off the talent show with birthday girl Baylee White singing Best Day of My Life by American Authors. Cameron Tubbs and Khristian Hicks rocked My Girl by The Temptations and had everyone jamming along.
Let it Go from Frozen was a popular choice with performances by Emily Duncan, Jordan Luke, and Nylah Marshall. As always, Jhmiyas showed off his dance moves to Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean. Rosemary Clark sang Oceans, and everyone chanted her name as she left the stage.
Everyone stood with their hands over their hearts when Tommy Redd sang God Bless America, and Michael Wicker got everyone to stand and Dance to Turn Down for What. Derek Schmitz and counselor Callie Miller tangoed for us. Edith Shunnarah took the stage and showed off her cheerleading skills.
The talent show ended with Breanna Hill and the rest of Cherokee cabin dancing to Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae). We all sang the goodnight song and left The Outpost to get ready for another eventful day at camp!
