Another River Region United Way annual giving campaign is in the history books, and we can’t thank our donors enough for helping impact nearly 135,000 lives in our communities!
Supporters gathered at the Ballroom at Alley Station on January 27 for the annual Recognition & Results event, where campaign volunteers were recognized for their contributions, and the final amount raised during the campaign was announced.
The work of the River Region United Way annual campaign is made possible by the dedicated service of dozens of volunteers. During the Recognition & Results event, we took time to pay tribute to our Campaign Cabinet members, as well as Loaned Executives, all of whom help us make a significant impact in addressing community needs.
In 2015, $4,715,254 was raised to benefit the thousands of people served by our 40+ affiliate agencies.
“Thank you to our thousands of donors who contributed to the campaign,” said 2015 Campaign Chair Heather Davis. “Because of you, we will continue to make an impact in our community.”
Heather also was honored for her hard work and dedication during the annual campaign, which kicked off in August 2015. She then “passed the baton” to the 2016 campaign chair, Bill Wallace, CEO of Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood.
