Yesterday was finally Sunday, and we all know what that means. It was time for another week of Camp! As campers arrived yesterday afternoon for check-in, everyone was talking about the concert we had planned for later that evening. Last night after dinner, it was finally time for all of us to head to the Big Stage for the concert.
Russell Craig performed last night, and it was a great way to kick off the start of Session 6. Russell is the lead singer of the band, and he also played the acoustic guitar. Along with Russell, he had a drummer, a bassist, and a electric guitarist. Russell and his band performed a variety of songs for us last night, including a few of his originals songs. Russell has such an amazing talent as a singer and a songwriter, and we cannot wait until he gets to come back to Camp to perform one day.
We would like to send a big Camp ASCCA thank you to Russell and the entire band that made last night a special night. The campers of Session 6 will be talking about last night for a long time. It was a great night here at Camp and an even greater start to Session 6, and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the week has in store for us.
