Yesterday, we (officially) kicked off Session Two by getting to do our daily activities. There were a various amount of activities that were ran in the morning such as tubing and the zipline. Some groups even got as lucky to go on a nature hike and pick fresh pears, see beautiful flowers, and even pick some tasty blueberries. Other groups got to sit in the shade and make fun Arts & Crafts that they can take home to their parents at the end of the week to show them. After the morning festivities were over, we got to each a tasty lunch that was made by Mr. Jon Dollar and the kitchen staff. We also made sure to drink plenty of water since it was such a hot day.
After we ate our lunch, we were able to take a good mid-afternoon nap so that we could be recharged for our activities in the evening. Once everyone woke up from their naps we all met up at the gym so that we could go to our afternoon activities. Some of the afternoon’s festivities included a waterslide and a pool party that everyone got a chance to attend since it was free choice.
Once we were done with the afternoon’s events, we went back to the dining hall and had a tasty dinner to get ready for….you guessed it…MORE ACTIVITIES, except this time you had to sign up for them. Some of the evening activities included karaoke and canoeing by the lake. When it was time for activities to close everybody went to the gym so that we could sing the Goodnight Song and get ready for another fun day of camp tomorrow.
