Session 3: Dancing with Camp ASCCA

Campers and staff dancing to the beat!

Every Thursday night, campers and staff throw a “end of the week dance”. The dance takes place after dinner in the dining hall filled with lights and music. Staff moved the tables and chairs to make a dance floor big enough so everyone can dance freely.

The night started off with “Fergalicious” by Fergie which set the best mood for the rest of the night. Soon enough each camper was dancing and singing. Campers, dressed in their nice outfits and their hair done, looked amazing as they danced the night away. Campers had the opportunity to dance with counselors and other friends which was a blast! Some staff members were wearing hotdog costumes for Fourth of July week! Everyone was having a great time participating in different types of dances like slow dancing. Campers were feeling the music and danced to the beat! Sadly, the dance was cut short due to weather but that did not stop anyone from having a great time!

Fun on the dance floor.

Although the rain caused the dance to end early, campers had a great last night at Camp ASCCA. Singing, dancing, and hanging out with friends was the best way to end a great week of summer camp!
