Everyone who comes to Camp becomes part of our ASCCA family. However, we have some campers and staff who come to Camp with their actual family.
Charlie Graham is one of our campers this week. He first came to Camp ASCCA in 2022, and he is now back for his second year! Charlie loves all the activities at Camp, but his favorite part is being able to hang out with everyone and to make new friends.
Drew Graham, Charlie’s sister, is a member of our program staff here at Camp. She has been serving Camp ASCCA since 2021, and she has been very involved ever since. She first learned about Camp ASCCA when her cousin told her about it. Her cousin was a counselor in the past, and he told her that she absolutely had to work at Camp because it would change her life.
“At first I didn’t really think it would make a huge difference in my life,” Drew says, “but now I never want to leave Camp.”
Drew has been a counselor for the past two years, and she is now part of the adventure staff this year. She works hard to make sure everyone has a fun and safe experience on all adventure activities. This week, she has had a great time spending time with her brother during his stay here at Camp.
“My favorite part of having Charlie at Camp is being able to spend time with him in a place that makes him feel comfortable and loved,” Drew said.
Drew and Charlie are two awesome members of the ASCCA family. We are so thankful to have both of them here this week, and we have had so much fun with them this session.
