Camp ASCCA Session 4 is already off to a rocking start! Campers arrived earlier today with high temperatures and high chances of rain. Originally, the plan was to have shaved ice while relaxing in hammocks but rain got in the way. Thankfully, rain doesn’t stop Camp ASCCA from having a fun time!
After dinner, campers had the choice of various activities including canoeing, demo farm, and karaoke. Campers couldn’t wait to sing for their friends while also enjoying shaved ice! Karaoke, led by Program Staff Kris, was a fun first activity to push campers out of their comfort zone. Campers danced and sang to their favorite songs. Soon enough, it began to sprinkle but this did not stop the campers!
Campers had a blast while singing, dancing, making new friends, and eating shaved ice. The summer may bring a lot of rain but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun! Session 4 started off with a bang and the week has only just begun. Camp ASCCA is excited to see what the next few days have in store.
