It has only been a few hours since we arrived at camp but I love this group already.
I had the privilege of traveling to Mobile to pick up our campers. The wait this morning to load up the buses was too long for most. Everyone was so excited and anxious to be at camp!
We finally loaded up and after a couple movies, naps and snacks we were nearly here. The time seemed to fly by with all the conversations and window gazing.
As tradition, a countdown was started a few seconds before we entered the Camp ASCCA gates. Campers screamed and cheered all the way down the road. Counselors and staff stood on either side of the bus waving as we pulled up to park.
We unloaded and campers and counselors were united! There were hugs and laughter everywhere you went.
It was a fun trip but I am glad to be back at camp!
