Session 6 has finally begun, and our campers had an amazing first day with a pool party and free choice activities! Campers in Chickasaw, Cherokee, Crow, and Redstick cabins had pool party last night, and tonight will be everyone else’s turn in the pool.
After their swim tests, campers and staff got out the tubes and pool noodles to float. Basketball was popular tonight, as well as some water guns a camper brought.
While they were at the pool party, Cheaha, Choctaw, Moundville, Creek, and Davis cabins could go to free choice activities. They had plenty to choose from with hammocks & music, the Wii room, putt putt, and panning for gold all open.
They could also choose to paint a soul stone like we have been doing our previous weeks at camp. We even had a cooking class open where they learned to make cheesecake!
