Welcome to Session Six at Camp ASCCA! Yesterday marked the first day of an iconic week. This week is a special one, it is Young Adult Week, and an all-star week in every way. The energy here is absolutely electric, with a bunch of fun and outgoing campers making the most of every moment.
From the moment the campers arrived, it was clear that this week would be unforgettable. Even though the weather wasn’t on our side, the air was filled with excitement and anticipation as everyone settled into their cabins and met their fellow campers. The sense of community and love among this group is truly something special.
Throughout the week, we have tons of fun in store, including talent show Tuesday, of course, a concert featuring John Hollier on Thursday night, a formal dance Wednesday night, and so much more. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities. Whether it’s conquering climbing the zip tower, making a splash in the pool, or showing off their creativity in arts and crafts, there’s something for everyone.
Last night, as you might have previously read, our free choice activities got rained out, but it was replaced with a fun filled casino night! We played card games, bingo, slot machines, and lots more. Campers and staff got to hang out and win prizes throughout the night. The laughter and joy shared among campers and staff created memories that will last a lifetime.
As we continue through session six, it’s clear that the bonds formed here are strong and meaningful. Camp ASCCA is more than just a place; it’s a community where everyone is celebrated for who they are. Here’s to a fantastic week filled with adventure, friendship, and unforgettable experiences!
