This morning campers and staff were excited for the first full day of Camp ASCCA Summer 2023! Each group had different activities to participate in after breakfast. To start off the day, group two arrived at archery and learned how to shoot a bow and arrow. Every camper took three shots each and even hit the targets! Taylor, the archery counselor, taught campers how to safely pull out an arrow from the target. Everyone had a fun time laughing together and practicing their new skill!
Around 10 a.m., group five headed down to the pool for a fun swim. Campers took a swimming test and quickly got in the pool. This morning was cloudy but still warm so the pool felt great and campers were having the best time! Some even tried their hand in a game of pool basketball!
Although there has been a little rain, campers and staff have not let that damper the mood! Today was all smiles and we can’t wait to see what this week holds!
