On Saturday, April 1st, volunteers from Sixth Street Baptist Church in Alexander City, Alabama, visited Camp ASCCA for a daylong work party. They worked alongside Aquatics Director Heather Chumney and completed a few projects down at lakefront.
The biggest task of the day was to install the waterslide that had been put in storage for the winter months and clean it up once it was in place. They also worked on cleaning and repainting the games that are located beside the waterslide, and they picked up debris and logs that were laying around the lakefront area.
We’d like to thank Sixth Street Baptist Church for sending a group of volunteers to spend the day with us and for devoting their time on a beautiful Saturday to keep Camp ASCCA looking great!
