While half our cabins had a pool party, Crow, Redstick, Chickasaw, and Creek cabins painted soul stones. This new activity here at camp will be one that lasts much longer than the week the campers are here.
The campers and counselors painted their stones with whatever colors and words they wanted and let them dry. The Girl Scouts helped out with drying the stones and making sure they had a clear seal on them.
While they were drying, everyone had a dance party! It was a great way for the campers and staff to bond on their first night at camp.
After the stones were dry, campers and counselors took them out to where they want the stones to rest. When the campers return next summer, they can go find their soul stone from this summer.
Be sure to check back here to see what our campers have been doing every day as well as our other social media: Flickr, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
