We have had a lot of special visitors at camp today and we love when we have visitors.
This morning the Alabama Power Service Organization hosted a meeting in our Dunn Center and then enjoyed a few Camp ASCCA adventures with us here at camp.
The Alabama Power Service Organization (APSO) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of helping other non-profit organizations.The APSO members are active employees of Alabama Power, Southern Nuclear, Southern Company Services and their families.
After APSO finished their meeting they took a tour of camp and got to each lunch with us.They even got to join in on a Camp ASCCA tradition of dancing to “Jump on It” before we all said good bye and they got to work. APSO spent the afternoon washing windows, cleaning the dining hall and doing some landscaping for us.They also donated $750 to the camp.
As always, It is a GREAT day here at Camp ASCCA!
