Session four is here and ready as ever! Several of the campers came in large groups, including some of our campers in the Sickle Cell group.
Sickle Cell is a disease causing red blood cells to be sickle-shaped like a “c” blocking blood flow.
I enjoyed watching the girls and guys hangout and talk with each other as they waited to check in to their cabins.Tonight they participated in Celebrity Egg Drop, competing to pad their eggs so they don’t break after falling from the roof of the dining hall. After the competition I got to watch some of them show off their dance moves as we waited in the pavilion to sing the goodnight song. Look out ASCCA, these campers are going to be a hit at Thursday’s dance!
I can’t wait to get to know all the campers from Session Four more as the week progresses; they are my favorite part of camp after all!
