With the cancellation of Summer 2020 camps, we have been working hard to find ways to stay connected with campers. One of the most popular activities we have done so far is weekly conversations over Zoom calls with several Camp friends. We will be updating this blog with new videos each week.

1. During our first session, Camp ASCCA staff members Matt & Cotney spoke about quarantine, spiders, crafts/design, exercise, and missing camp with five of our campers! Enjoy our first Zoom post with Sam, McCartney, Christina, Carson, and Jeffrey.
2. During our second session, Camp ASCCA staff members Matt & Cotney returned to talk about missing Camp, fave things at Camp, and more with five campers and one parent! Enjoy our second Zoom post with Carmine, Josh, Brooke, Britani, Windsor and her dad, and Jessi!
3. Camp ASCCA staff member Amber Cotney took time to speak with six past Campers of the Year from the years 2011-2019! It was a pleasure and lots of fun to catch up with these amazing friends. Please enjoy our third Zoom meeting with Tim, Hank, Christina, Sam, Matthew, and Nigel!
4. Camp ASCCA staff member Amber Cotney caught up with four past Campers of the Year from years pre-2011. Wait ’til you see what these friends are up to as adults and how ASCCA has influenced their lives! Please enjoy our fourth Zoom meeting with Phillip, Laura Lee, Becky, and Haylee.
5. Camp ASCCA staff member Matt holds our annual unit leader meeting. This year, unfortunately, things are different. Join us as Matt catches up with Casey, Zach, Lexi, Zac, Caroline, and Peyton – our would-be 2020 summer unit leaders! The group catches up on what they’ll miss about Camp, quarantine “high’s and low’s”, and how much Matt really, really, really misses them! 🙂
6. Camp ASCCA Program Director Amber Cotney is back with three campers from the Camp Mobile Rotary group! They discuss what they’ve been doing lately, their fave things about Camp, Chad as Elvis, and we meet Kevin’s new dog Calvin! Don’t miss the part when the craziness breaks out as Ross P. calls Kevin while Carrie enjoys a snack. 🙂 🙂 Oh, and there’s a surprise visit from someone they all have been waiting on! 7. Camp ASCCA staff member Amber Cotney rounds up four campers and four summer staff members to talk about Camp and what’s going on in their lives. 8. Camp ASCCA Program Director Amber Cotney invited three campers who wanted to participate in the Zoom call. We surprise one camper with her special “camp boyfriend”, and catch up with everyone else. 9. Camp ASCCA staff member Amber Cotney hosts our biggest Zoom meeting yet! Campers and Cotney catch up and talk about all things ASCCA. Please take the time and enjoy our ninth 2020 Zoom session with campers Mandi, Chad, Bonnie Claire, Noel, Mary Martin, Lori, Lacy, Ciaran, and Hope. There are plenty of “shout outs” to many staff members too!
