Take #3: Pizza Night

“I’m going to make him a pizza he can’t refuse.”
The Godfather

If you didn’t know Wednesday night is PIZZA NIGHT and it was amazing! This particular pizza night was extra special because campers got to see and experience how the pizza is made. They not only donated their time this afternoon they also donated pizza for tonights dinner.

This afternoon campers and counselors got to learn how to make pizza from the owner and staff of Little Italy Pizzeria located in Auburn, Al.

During the class each camper had their own thing of dough. They learned how to flatten the dough, define the outer crust, stretch the dough and even got to toss the dough. It was so much fun to see everyones first toss because it is not an easy task and takes lots of practice to master the act of tossing pizza.

The campers had a great time learning from owner Mark and Pat about how pizza is made. They did a great job teaching and it was a LOT of fun!

Thank you Mark, Pat and Little Italy Pizzeria for all you have done for us this summer!
As always it has been a Great day here at Camp ASCCA and it is now time to say Goodnight! We have a full day planned for tomorrow and we need our rest.
Goodnight!
