Talladega Superspeedway Visits Camp

Yesterday, we had a very special visitor here at Camp. None other than Ms. Judy Williams, a true legend in our camp’s history. Judy has been with us since the camp’s inception in 1976, and her dedication and love for Camp ASCCA have only grown over the years. Her roles have varied from head counselor to aquatics director and program staff member, and she continues to contribute as an ex-officio Board Member and alumni coordinator. Judy now works with the one and only Talladega Superspeedway.

Yesterday’s visit was extra special because Judy brought along a treat that the campers absolutely loved – a Talladega Superspeedway car! The campers were so excited as they got the chance to sit in the car, take pictures, and experience a piece of racing history up close. Judy’s generosity and thoughtfulness in providing these unique experiences truly make her a cherished part of our camp family.

Judy’s visit reminded us all of the incredible impact she has had on Camp ASCCA and the countless lives she has touched. Her commitment goes beyond her official roles; she continually brings joy and unforgettable moments to our campers. We are so grateful for her ongoing support and the special memories she helps create. Thank you, Judy, for making yesterday an unforgettable day for everyone at Camp ASCCA!
