Thursday, December 17th, was a very busy day. The first order of business was getting to Camp ASCCA campus for an interview with WSFA Channel 12 about the upcoming fundraiser hosted by Alexander City Elks Club. The fundraiser will be held on New Year’s Eve and will feature entertainment by the Sweet Young Un‘s Band. For more information, please visit WSFA article. We are very thankful to the Alex City Elks Club and everyone involved with this fundraiser.
After this interview, we traveled further south to visit the Tallassee Rotary Club. This was my second visit with this club. I enjoyed giving an update about camp as well as giving new members more information about camp. This club is very excited about their involvement with camp! Each year they send students to RYLA in the spring and sponsor campers to attend in the summer. We greatly appreciate the Tallassee Rotary Club for all of their support.
