Civitan International is an organization of volunteer service clubs serving around the world since 1917. In 1950 they became more involved in helping people with developmental disabilities and have been a major supporter of Special Olympics International. They also help fund special camps and events.

Located in Alabama on Lake Martin, Camp ASCCA offers campers a wide variety of traditional recreational and educational activities with a unique design for accessibility.
