Earlier this week, Program Director Amber Cotney joined former camper Hank Poore at Auburn University to speak to an Auburn Assistive Technology class. Nathan Waters, former Camp ASCCA Outdoor Adventure Director and current Assistant Director of the Office of Accessibility invited them to speak to his class.
Hank Poore is the founder and director of The Hank Poore Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 2020 to provide community, connection, and support to people with disabilities.
The Hank Poore Foundation graciously donated a $2,400 scholarship to Camp ASCCA, enough to cover the cost of two camperships this upcoming summer!
