The Central Baldwin County Sunset Rotary Games!

We have some GREAT friends here at Camp ASCCA. The Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary Club recently held their first “Rotary Games” in conjunction with the Fairhope Sunset Rotary Club in Robertsdale, AL. The Games were held the evening of February 27, 2014 and featured a competitive tournament of American Cornhole!

Four, two-person teams from each club entered at $100 each. A silent auction was also held to raise funds for the event. The event was publicized as “a charitable activity promoted to solely benefit Camp ASCCA and to foster teamwork and camaraderie between the Fairhope Sunset Rotary Club and the Baldwin Sunset Rotary Club.”

Camp ASCCA staff members Lyle Coutts and Aubrie Collins attended the event as guests of honor and excitedly rooted-on the teams!

At the end of the evening, Lyle and Aubrie were presented with a donation of $3,000 for Camp ASCCA campers to attend summer camp!

Big thanks go out to the clubs and to our friends Collins Wynn and James Linton for organizing the event. We can’t wait to see them back here this summer for a tour to see how there donation makes a difference!
