MOULTON, Ala. (WAAY) – The Lawrence County Pilot Club is selling $20 tickets to the Lawrence Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show in March.

The money raised will send 17 year-old Andrew Vandiver to Camp ASCCA this summer.

The camp on Lake Martin is designed for children and adults with special needs.

Vandiver is in the 10th grade at the East Lawrence Developmental Center.

Vandiver’s mother, Lisa, says the week long camp will allow her son to participate in activities he doesn’t normally have the opportunity to do.

“It’s really important because it’s a wonderful thing that they are doing. Without their help, it would not be possible.”

Local merchants will be participating in the fashion show.Door prizes and entertainment will be included.

Tickets may be purchased by calling Pilot Club member Bobbie Glenn at 256-309-7047.

The luncheon will be held at the Moulton Church of Christ Fellowship Hall on March 9th at 11:00am.

The Pilot Club needs to raise around $800 to send Vandiver to camp in June.

The non-profit organization hopes to continue funding more campers next year.
