Alabama District Pilot International and individual clubs and members throughout the District have had strong and generous history with Easter Seals Camp ASCCA. Past donations have included donations to the aquatic program areas as well as the environmental education programs. Many donations have been made from individual clubs and member to also fund camperships and other program area needs.
In 2009, the Alabama Pilots donated money to have Camp’s pontoon boat, the Pilot Queen, renovated. The beloved boat has received many upgrades throughout the years since its original donation, but this time it was major.
Renovation of the 26’ Pilot Queen pontoon boat included. Installation of a new 4-stroke fuel-efficient outboard engine, new decking and carpet, replaced safety railings, and a replaced lighting/electrical system.
Thank you Alabama Pilots for your years of support! The campers this summer will greatly benefit from the “new” boat!
