The Daphne/Spanish Fort Kiwanis club was gracious enough to have us as guest speakers at their meeting. Allison traveled there previously and told them about her involvement from Camp ASCCA since she was seven years old and some of the camp’s history.
If you didn’t already know, Camp ASCCA is the largest of its kind not only because of the activities available but the number of people served, between 1,200 to 1,500 in the summer and 6,000 to 8,000 the remainder of the year.
Then she handed the floor to me before asking for questions. I shared my experience at camp of being encouraged by staff encouraging campers and the campers’ story. To hear what I had to say you can watch the video below.
