Totally Awesome ’80s Weekend with the Alabama Head Injury Foundation

The Alabama Head Injury Foundation arrived at Camp ASCCA on Friday, March 31st, for a weekend of springtime activities and ASCCA programs. Group members arrived Friday afternoon and met with ASCCA Program Director Amber Cotney and Nurse Abbey Murray to check-in for the weekend. This year’s theme was Totally Awesome ’80s, and each activity stayed true to the title.

Each day, campers visited different activity locations like arts and crafts, zip line, archery, and more. We could not have asked for better weather, and by Sunday everyone was worn out from the weekend’s eventful schedule and ready for an afternoon nap. We had the best time with the Alabama Head Injury Foundation, and you can see more of the weekend’s activities by visiting their Facebook page here.
