August 25th was a busy day. That morning, I spoke for a ladies group in Alexander City. A few hours later, I was visiting the Jefferson County Board of Education in Birmingham!
The Board of Education hosted a transitional fair which introduced many special education teachers, students and parents to area services. I have the opportunity to visit many of these events throughout the state and they always prove to be valuable. This event was no exception. There many participants which means I was able to answer questions for potential new campers and their families. Several people also inquired about working for camp. It was a great end to a long day and I appreciated the opportunity to participate.
