Transition Fairs are an excellent resource for gaining awareness for Camp ASCCA. The fairs have the potential to expose camp to students with special needs, their parents and school faculty. So, I am always delighted to have the opportunity to be involved.
On February 22nd, I attended the Transition Fair at the Tarrant Intermediate School. Unfortunately, we were experiencing local inclement weather that evening. So, attendance wasn’t quite as good as hoped. However, I did meet with several area teachers who were excited about passing camp’s information along to their students.
