Good morning friends of Camp ASCCA! Another week of camp went by, and like always, everyone had fun exploring the attractions here. This week’s theme was “Through the Decades”, where it was centered around popular things from the 70’s through the 2000’s. Zip tower, zipline, extreme riflery, pool parties, casino nights, the waterslide, and tubing were some of the various activities that campers loved.
Campers, counselors, and staff members traveled through the decades during Wednesday’s Decade Dash. They guessed which 80s songs were playing on the boombox, created 90’s dance routines, came up with 2000’s-based reality shows, and dressed up in costumes from the 70’s.
Session 2 ended with a bang at the Decades Dance on Thursday night. Campers, staff members, & counselors danced and bobbed their heads to popular songs, ranging from “The Midnight Train” to “It’s Getting Hot In Here”. Some also dressed up in attire from each of the decades.
