One of the star events here at camp is tubing on the lake. Campers and staff love to ride the waves. I had the opportunity to hop on the boat and watch all the faces light up as they got to experience something a lot of them don’t get to experience everyday! This is what makes Camp so special; everyone is capable of anything. There is not one person who can’t enjoy the thrill and excitement of trying something new.
The support from other campers and staff is so important in creating an environment where everyone feels encouraged to step out of their comfort zones. Even those who might be a little nervous at first or hesitant, with a little encouragement, they always find themselves grinning from ear to ear by the end of the ride. Moments like these truly highlight the magic of Camp ASCCA where is encouraged to push their boundaries and create unforgettable memories. Whether it’s tubing, canoeing, or ziplining there’s something for everyone. It was a great day on the lake!
