Tuesday ASCCA Awards

At lunch we had our ASCCA Awards for the program rotations this morning. An award was given to a camper by our program staff from each of our activities in the rotations: nature, archery, zipline, arts & crafts, boatrides, tubing, fishing, pool, putt putt/bocee ball, and demo farm.
Mandi Miller recieved the award for nature because even though she knew the answers, she worked hard not to give away the answers to other campers in the Wheel of Fortune game they played.
The archery award went to Stuart Prescott because of his excitement about going to the program rotation. He had some trouble at the beginning, but he hit the deer target without any help.
For zipline, Adrienne Tolbert got the award for her bravery.
Mario Houston received the arts & crafts award for being patient and helping others.
Kim Karpuk got an award for boatrides because of her patience and helping keep everyone together.
Stephen Fornier got the award for tubing because he was not only patient, but came back afterward and thanked each program staff for letting him ride the tube.
The fishing award went to Mattie Wingard because even though she didn’t catch a fish, she was super patient and had a great time.
Terri Baskin recieved the award for pool. At first she didnt know if she could get in, but after she did she had a big smile on her face the whole time.
Matt Peterson got the award for putt putt/bocee ball because he did a great job when playing and helped/cheered on others as well.
The demo farm award went to Susan Weekley since she was nervous at first but loved it at the end.
