Meet Yael and Vanesa, two best friends who traveled from Mexico to work at Camp ASCCA. They both applied through a program called Camp Leaders and requested positions at Camp ASCCA, where they were hired as counselors. They have been enjoying every moment of their experience here.
Yael and Vanesa live in Mexico City. Yael works as a mechanical engineer, while Vanesa is a pharmacist and also teaches dance to children. Both are relatively new to the United States and love trying American food and going shopping. They share a passion for travel and plan to explore more of the U.S.

Watching Yael and Vanesa work together as a team has been incredibly inspiring. They consistently support each other whenever needed, creating a positive and collaborative environment at Camp. Their enthusiasm is contagious as they engage in a variety of activities. Yael loves tubing with his campers, while Vanesa enjoys arts and crafts with hers. Their teamwork not only enhances their own experiences but also makes their campers’ experiences ten times better. It’s heartwarming to see how their friendship and shared passion make a positive impact on everyone’s time at Camp.

We are thrilled that Yael and Vanesa are here together and have become a part of our Camp ASCCA family. They brighten every room they enter and are a joy to be around. We cannot express how grateful we are to have them here; they truly make Camp a better place every single day. Their laughter and positivity inspire everyone around them. We look forward to making wonderful memories together!
