Rounding off the month of April, I attended the Walk for Autism Awareness in Florence on the 25th. The Autism Society’s local chapter utilize facilities at Mars Hills Christian Academy as hosts for the walk. Exhibition tables displaying information about local services fill the gymnasium as a live band plays throughout the morning’s activities. The Florence Walk for Autism is always a lot of fun and I always appreciate the opportunity to be involved. Also, on April 24, I had the pleasure of speaking with a small ladies group from a Shoals area church called Grace Covenant. Unfortunately, the picture that was taken did not turn out but I do appreciate their hospitality and interest in Camp ASCCA.
