“Fifth-graders at Radney School spent Thursday at Alabama’s Special Camp for Children and Adults learning about the importance of water quality.
Students from the fifth-grade class at Radney School attended the hands-on Water Quality Day Camp at ASCCA, which is sponsored by the camp and funded by the Middle Tallapoosa River Basin Clean Water Partnership.
“We’re just trying to teach them the importance of water and how important it is to the state of Alabama and particularly to our area living on Lake Martin and what value it has to us,” said Tom Collier, Dadeville campus director for ASCCA and member of the water partnership and Lake Watch. “Everything we’re talking about today relates to water issues.” more…
