Abbey Love Murray hails from Mississippi, where she received a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Kinesiology from Mississippi State University. Spending some time out West led her to earn a degree in Massage Therapy and to later pursue a career in Nursing.
Abbey is no stranger to Camp ASCCA. She spent many summers working as a member of the Program Staff and a unit leader. Abbey Love returned to Camp ASCCA for the 2013 summer sessions and has continued to work weekends and a session this past summer as a nurse on the nursing staff. She also recently joined the large and ever-growing “club” for former ASCCA workers that married other former ASCCA workers.
Abbey Love and Quillie Murray now reside in Opelika, Alabama, where she is also employed by EAMC as a labor and delivery nurse and he teaches seventh grade English/Language Arts. Abbey Love is extremely excited to begin this new journey in her life. She considers returning to ASCCA in this full-time position a return home.
