Session 4
This morning we opened our gates to begin ASCCA Session 4 and Sickle Cell Week! About 90 campers are here, and ready for a great Olympic themed week.
Tonight, the campers met their counselors and the rest of their cabin, then headed down to the dining hall for a delicious dinner of lasagna. After dinner we were split into two groups- one went to a pool party and the other participated in Banana Olympics.
In Banana Olympics, campers decorated and named their olympian banana, then put it through grueling tasks. Their banana olympians braved a zipline, a high dive, and even tried out hockey and basketball. The best preserved banana was the winner.
