This weekend was the orientation for our wonderful Camp ASCCA staff! Everyone old and new got together to learn all about how to give our campers the best and safest summer yet. There were plenty of rules and regulations to go over, and a lot of learning medical terminology, but there was also an abundance of fun. Staff enjoyed ice breaker games, pizza and shaved ice at the OutPost, and even a pool party — not to mention a very informative test run of our zipline and tubing activities.
Through expanding our minds and having a little fun, our staff began their journey to becoming a family. We learned to be a team dedicated to giving every camper the respect and independence they deserve while here at camp. Working all hours of the night and spending our days in the summer heat isn’t easy, but we’ll happily do it to give every camper the adventure of a lifetime. There’s no place like Camp, and no people like our staff!
