This past week at camp has been nothing short of extraordinary, filled with memorable activities and special events that made it truly unique. From the moment we arrived, each day was packed with fun and excitement, creating an atmosphere of joy among all the campers.
We kicked off the week with our usual camp activities like zip lining, canoeing, arts and crafts, and tubing. These activities not only helped us bond and make new friends but also pushed us out of our comfort zones in the best way possible.
What made this week extra special was the surprise event that took everyone by storm. Mid-week, we were treated to an incredible concert from Adam Hood followed by a second performance from The Red Clay Strays that no one saw coming. The surprise concert was a highlight for many of us, creating a night that we’ll remember for years to come.
As if that wasn’t enough, Thursday we had a “Battle of the Decades” dance party. Everyone was dressed in fun and flashy outfits from all the decades. We danced and partied hard, sang along to some major throw backs, and wrapped up the last night at camp in the best way possible.
Reflecting on this week, it’s clear that these special events brought us closer and created lasting memories. The concert, the surprise performance, and the dance-off were the perfect additions to an already fantastic camp experience. As campers pack up and head home, we are leaving with new friendships, unforgettable moments, and a sense of accomplishment from all we’ve experienced together. This week at camp will always hold a special place in our hearts!
