Overview of the Ms. Wheelchair Alabama‐USA Pageant
Ms. Wheelchair Alabama-USA Pageant is an opportunity for women over the age of 18 who use wheelchairs to become advocates and spokespersons for all people with disabilities. It is NOT a beauty pageant, but rather a pageant that celebrates a woman’s accomplishments and who take pride in themselves, and their lives with a disability. They must be willing to prove their beauties to the world! While there is no swimsuit competition or “beauty” competitions, contestants are judged on their sense of style, pride, self confidence, stage presentation and presentations.
