If you’ve got a case of the Mondays, try joining us for our first official day of Camp! Things got off to a rocky start when a downpour delayed check-in, but our campers and staff’s immutable excitement saved the day from becoming a bust. No storm could stop us from having fun with our camp friends and enjoying a delicious dinner; Jon Dollar’s lasagna was just what we needed to perk up on a dreary day.
After dinner, we made our way to the gym for some of our favorite rainy day games, starting Skit in the Bag! Putting together a skit with random props and costumes is always a fun challenge, and everyone absolutely blew us away with their creativity! Our judges were so impressed that three different groups tied for first place. Alas, only one could win. Fortunately for our friends in group three, a dance battle was chosen to break the tie, and nothing could top their talent — especially camper Cyrus’ break dancing. After a long night of friendly but spirited competition at all our rainy day games, everyone went to bed feeling like champions.
