Meet Bethany, one of our new counselors at Camp ASCCA this summer! Bethany is from Auburn, AL, and she will be starting her freshman year at Auburn University. She lives at home with her mom, dad, and two brothers. One of her brothers, Chris, is a camper at Camp ASCCA and has been coming here for many years.
Bethany learned about Camp through her family and Chris. She decided to join Camp this year as a counselor to experience it for herself, as her brother really enjoys attending every summer. Bethany has always wanted to work with people with special needs, making Camp ASCCA the perfect place for her.
Since arriving at Camp, Bethany has made many friends among the other counselors and loves being around the campers. She enjoys the atmosphere at Camp and is excited for the rest of the summer. Her favorite activities with her campers are tubing and arts and crafts.
We are thrilled to have Bethany with us this summer. We look forward to seeing where this experience takes her and how she grows at Camp. Camp ASCCA is full of family ties, and we are so happy that both Chris and Bethany are part of the joy and love here this year!
