Leadership Lake Martin is a ten-month leadership training program designed to inform, inspire, and empower community leaders throughout the Lake Martin area.
These comprehensive classes provide emerging leaders with a broader understanding and heightened awareness of the opportunities, challenges, and resources within our community. Participants form a core group of leaders who serve Tallapoosa and Coosa Counties.

Each year, every team identifies, plans, develops, and implements a community service project designed to better the community. Since Leadership Lake Martin visits Camp ASCCA each year as part of their training, they were able to see our canoe racking system and recognized that it needed a facelift.
They generously chose this as their project. Not only did they build a brand-new canoe racking system for us, but they also donated all of the supplies for the project and gifted Camp ASCCA with a donation of $2,276.48.

This project would not have been possible without the wonderful sponsors who supported it. Thank you to Alexander City Independent Methodist Church, Commissioner John McKelvey, C&T Electric, Hawkins Outdoors, Home Depot, John Strickland, Russell Do It Center, and Valley Bank.
This generous donation will go toward our aquatics program and help provide new equipment such as life jackets, floats, and more.
We are incredibly grateful to Leadership Lake Martin’s Blue Team for choosing Camp ASCCA as the recipient of their generosity.
